The holiday season is memorialized and made special by the traditions we keep, year after year. One tradition that we in Columbia, South Carolina are looking forward to is Vista Lights!
From the shopping to the galleries to the food, Vista Lights is one magical night. This year it will be held on November 15 from 5-10 PM. Of course the restaurants and bars will remain open even after that for those who want to continue the celebration into the night.
During Vista Lights, Gervais and Lincoln Street are closed in historic Columbia’s Vista, allowing for the streets to be filled with people enjoying the Holiday Street Party.
And don’t forget about the tree lighting! At 7:00, everyone can witness the beautiful tree lighting which will take place on the corner of Lincoln and Gervais outside of River Runner. Mayor Steve Benjamin will be heading off the lighting this year.
There are plenty of convenient parking garages around Vista, horse carriage rides, and pedi-cabs available. For information about parking and event locations, visit the Vista Lights website at http://www.vistalightssc.com/mapparking.aspx.
We hope to see you in on November 15 in Columbia, South Carolina for Vista Lights!
