2014 Toyota RAV4 Wows with Entune Audio and Technology Package

2014 Toyota RAV4When the fourth generation Toyota RAV4 debuted last year, there was plenty to be excited about: a roof-hinged liftgate, the spare tire moved to the cargo floor, and a new six-speed transmission. Coming in on its second year as the fourth generation model, the RAV4 brings some new surprises for 2014.

Firstly, the RAV4 receives a new lineup of Entune Audio systems for all trim levels. The LE base trim comes with standard Entune Audio, featuring a 6.1-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio, a USB port, iPod connectivity, and six speakers.

2014 Toyota RAV4 EntuneMoving up to the XLE trim brings the Entune Audio Plus system, boasting HD Radio, iTunes tagging, and HD Traffic and Weather. Opt for the top of line Limited trim and you can experience Entune Premium. This multimedia package comes with an App Suite which connects with your smartphone to deliver apps like Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, Facebook, and more. In addition, Entune Premium offers real-time traffic information, weather, fuel prices, sports scores, and stock updates. And best of all, it doesn’t require a subscription.

2014 RAV4 Blind Spot MonitorIn addition to the full line of Entune options, drivers can look forward to a new Technology Package, offered on the Limited trim. This package includes Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Alert, and Auto High Beam. The Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert use radar sensors to alert the driver when a car is near, displaying indicators on the exterior side mirrors. Similarly, Lane Departure outputs a beeping noise and flashing light when the car may stray from its lane.

These are just some of the exciting changes you can expect from the 2014 Toyota RAV4. Boasting tons of cargo space, a Dynamic Torque Control All-Wheel Drive system, and 8 standard airbags, the 2014 RAV4 remains a top choice in the crossover market.
