Toyota Named Top Non-Luxury Brand

Top Non-Luxury Brand

The Toyota Tacoma won its segment in “Best Retained Value Awards”

Much of Toyota’s popularity is built on the brand’s long-standing reputation for durability and dependability. Therefore, it’s no surprise to us at Dick Dyer Toyota—and probably not to our loyal customers, either—that Toyota was named as this year’s top non-luxury brand in Edmunds.com’s fifth annual “Best Retained Value Awards”. Basically, Toyota vehicles hold their value better than any other non-luxury brand, over the first five years of ownership.

“Earning the Edmunds.com ‘Best Retained Value award is a great honor and a testament to Toyota’s commitment to quality, durability, and reliability – all key ingredients for great value,” said Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager for Toyota Division. The award applies specifically to the 2015 Toyota model lineup, which is Toyota’s greatest and most diverse lineup to date.

While Toyota’s overall win is the most impressive achievement, four individual Toyota models also earned an award as the vehicle with the best resale value in their segment. The Tacoma and Tundra pickup trucks both won their segments, as did the Highlander midsize SUV and the Avalon full-size sedan. Come see us at Dick Dyer Toyota to learn more about these winning vehicles and the whole award-winning lineup today!
